My quantum jump is to run a free trial wellbeing coaching session online with an existing client before our next course session on 1st March.
My learning goals from it are:
1. a technical one about how best to send the Zoom meeting link/invitation
2. a practical one about how long to allow for sessions.
I certainly feel fearful and resistant to taking this action so quickly, but, as Joanne suggests, I will trust the process 🙂

I did notice that my fears generally seem to stem from either childhood experiences (eg wanting to please) or something innate in me (eg fear of heights).

My fiat is: “Here I am feeling so empowered, supporting clients on their recovery journey from chronic fatigue by working with them online using trauma-informed wellbeing coaching and qigong.” I have been meditating on it before going to sleep each night and feeling into it. Having it as a daily reminder in my calendar helped me to memorise it so that I can now recite it at any time without needing to refer to it. I feel so much more positive now than I did before I started on this journey with you all 🙂

A belated hello! I couldn’t remember how to access the discussions, so thank you for the reminder and link Catherine. I am Wendy Rooke and I live in Reading, near London in the UK. I live with my partner, his two adult sons and his mother, who we all care for. I am a self-employed holistic therapist and qigong instructor. I have plans to take some of my business online in 2022, so my draft fiat is “Here I am supporting clients on their recovery journey from chronic fatigue by working with them online using trauma-informed wellbeing coaching and/or qigong.” The keyword that came out of the Visioning Retreat for me was ‘Rewilding’. I look forward to exploring all of this with you all over the next few weeks.

As if by magic, this morning I took part in an online networking meeting with others who are on the same coaching journey as me (albeit further along it), and, it being Valentine’s Day, the facilitator invited us to share what we love most about our work; most spoke about empowering their clients. What they described will help me to feel into my fiat as I work towards my goal…

I know what you mean Vivian. I too have a list of goals, but I have realised that the common thread running through them all is healing from crisis, so if I focus on one thing, it also affects the others, so they are effectively one…
