MemberNovember 9, 2021 at 8:11 am in reply to: Prophecy and the Great Shift: Knowing, Being & DoingThis is a lot of fun….a very enjoyable conversation. There is a lot of both light and dark though in this one I feel. The question I would like to ask is:
GOING WITH THE CONCEPT THAT SOMETHING SMALL DONE IN BEAUTY CAN HAVE BIG RAMIFICATIONS, WHAT MIGHT WE BE ABLE TO DO TO START POSITIVE RIPPLES?

Another important video I believe. It seems so important to heal ourselves, not just for ourselves, but to enable us to take effective action to help “Birth the New Earth”.
I would like to pose a question, or sort of a double question !, to help start off the discussion here.
HOW CAN WE HELP HEAL OURSELVES, SO WE CAN HEAL OTHERS AND ADDRESS THE COLLECTIVE NEED TO HEAL THE EARTH? HOW CAN WE CONNECT HEART AND HEAD IN OUR HEALING AND JOURNEY?

MemberNovember 9, 2021 at 4:50 pm in reply to: Rewilding the Heart; Rewilding the EarthHi Mick, I have a book of Holy Wells too…I have been to quite few of them especially in the West Country. Yes I feel likewise that these special places have been holy places for a very long time pre-dating Christianity and the Romans by probably thousands of years. Churches too I believe were mostly built in places that were seen to be sacred and the Yew tree which is in every church yard was seen as holy in pre-christian times

It’s fascinating little area which itself is not so hard to find…Google maps shows the Church clearly, there is also an ancient leper hospital or hostel there and it feels a totally different world and centuries away from the Cowley Road…which is only probably 200 metres from there!

Thanks Annabel for all your input. Re: the importance of No, I feel that at the end of the today the person having the difficulties has to be the one to take responsibility and try to make positive change…..the “listener” cannot do it for them.
Yes I agree the quartet seem to work visually, and enables a great focused discussion with a range of input and views.

Hi Jacqui, you make a number of great points. Just to pick up one of them, your comments about the value of the wisdom held by indigenous peoples and importance of supporting the re-birthing of this knowledge and helping the indigenous voices to be heard….I could not agree more.
Also that, I believe, we do innately hold this knowledge ourselves…our ancestors would have shared it…and we do have the potential for this to be reborn within us.

MemberNovember 9, 2021 at 9:17 am in reply to: Rewilding the Heart; Rewilding the EarthHi Annabel, that’s great. Yes I have been to both Rosamund’s Well and Lady Well Wilcote many times….again they are such special places. There is only one other Holy Well in Oxfordshire I am aware of, St Bartholomew’s Well which is by the Chaple just off one of the busiest roads in Oxford, the Cowley Road

Yes and history shows by such events as the ending of Apartheid and the fall of the Berlin Wall that these shifts can happen.

Hi Kylie, I think you make an excellent point about deep listening, and listening to ourselves. I think strangely that sometimes we can better at listening to others rather than ourselves. We can also often be very harsh and unkind and judgmental towards ourselves.
Yes also I think that listening to the heart is the first place to start as the head can be too full of “shoulds” and “should nots” and societal conditioning.

Hi Lisa, these discussions are only available to those who have registered for the Summit. I think you raise an important point though.
It would be great if the Summit and these conversations lead to further networks and the spreading of these ideas, and resulting actions towards creating the “New Earth”. There will be some kind of follow up to the Summit and perhaps these ideas can be explored then.

MemberNovember 8, 2021 at 4:38 pm in reply to: Rewilding the Heart; Rewilding the EarthI too find Holy Wells special places Annabel….where I can feel somehow connected to for want of a better word “spirit”. I often go to St Margaret’s Well in Binsey in Oxford…..which was depicted as the Treacle Well (Treacle meant healing water) in Alice in Wonderland. I find these places also have a timeless quality. I always feel rejuvenated after my visit.

I think what you are saying is so important. We will not all be wanting to take so called front line action, risk being arrested and even potential violence against us. I think it is about finding our own way to support the “Birth of a New Earth”. The mentoring you are talking about sounds an extremely valuable contribution to me. And dancing is important too. FUN can bring radical change I believe….fun being probably the most underrated human experience.

Hi Carole, yes I share a similar irony on my path. I worked for over 10 years in mental health setting up user led projects in the Community…it was all about setting up an environment where people were supported to take control and engage with their wellness rather than illness and be “empowered”. And then a decade or so later…..and by this time mental health services had become far more medicalised, I had a kundalini awakening and was treated in a way that was totally disempowering and not remotely listened to. Mental health services reflect the society we live in and there is potential for positive change but again this is not an easy journey.
